Download 900 MHz kernel for Nokia N900

This is the 900 MHz kernel for overclocking Nokia N900's CPU on 900MHz. After downloading save this file in /home/user/MyDocs/ on your Nokia N900 . To flash your device with this kernel open X Terminal and write the following:

 root

fiasco-image-update /home/user/MyDocs/zImage900.fiasco

Reboot your device and it will be overclocked to 900 MHz when it boots up. You will notice a change in performance. Use this on your own risk! If you want to go back to the original Nokia N900 Kernel and 600 MHz CPU clock just open X Terminal again and write:

root

apt-get --reinstall install kernel kernel-flasher

Reboot your Nokia N900 and things should be back to where they were.

I just did overclocked my phone and it works way way faster... from browsing to better video playback, faster email...

actually im trying it everything is ok but when i do the step typing /home/user/MyDocs/zImage900.fiasco it tells me permission denied ?!

you need root access on your phone in order to do this.. btw I found the 825 Mhz overclock to be more stable than this one but this is just my observation.

no none just rootsh installed. after that I downloaded the file and flashed it using the commands in the tutorial
